All I Want to Do (The Beach Boys song)

"All I Want to Do" is a song written by Dennis Wilson. It was recorded by American rock band The Beach Boys for their 1969 album ''20/20''. It was later released as the b-side to "I Can Hear Music", a single which charted at #24 in the U.S. and at #10 in the U.K..
==Information==
The song is a savage fast-paced rocker with blazing guitars and a creditable vocal from Mike Love, certainly sounding nothing like anything the Beach Boys had done before (or afterwards, for that matter). The song is seen as very controversial compared to other Beach Boys songs, with sex noises in the background on the fade-out; a woman in the throes of passion, screaming and calling out "oh boy". Dennis Wilson can also be heard in the fade-out.〔All I want to do review, http://www.snopes.com/risque/tattled/alliwant.asp〕〔Keith Badman, "The Beach Boys: The Definitive Diary of America's Greatest Band on Stage and in the Studio" ISBN 0-87930-818-4, p.230.〕
As well as "All I Want to Do", Dennis Wilson also wrote "Never Learn Not to Love" which is also sex-related with the lyrics "Cease to resist". The song was originally titled "Cease to Exist" by American criminal Charles Manson, who was associated with Wilson before the murders.〔(The Pop Culture Addict presents... Music )〕 Both "All I Want to Do" and "Never Learn Not to Love" appear on the 20/20 album.
A live version of the song was recorded in 1968 for ''Live in London'' but not included on the 1970 album. The version was, however, released on ''Rarities'' in 1983.
